The Habitat Penang Hill is a B Corp Certified, award winning rainforest discovery park, set atop the storied Penang Hill, the gateway to the UNESCO Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve.

Apart from the myriad of flora and fauna that are discoverable along our 1.6km trail, visitors will enjoy breathtaking views atop Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, the highest accessible viewing platform on Penang Island as well as traverse the longest bridge of its kind in the world, the Langur Way Canopy Walk.

The Habitat Attractions:
- Langur Way Canopy Walk: Langur Way was named after spotting a family of Dusky Leaf Langurs sitting on the cables, munching on forest canopy leaves whilst the bridge was being built.
- Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk: The Treetop Walk is a 13m HIGHEST PUBLIC viewing platform located on the plateau just above the Mid-Point Rest Area and Museum.
- Trail & Gardens: A few minutes’ away from the Top Station of Penang Hill Funicular Railway marks the starting point of the 1.6km long The Habitat nature trail.
- Sunset Walk: Catch one of the best views of Penang Island and the mainland with golden rays of sunlight shining down on the rainforest from Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk.
- The Flight Of The Colugo: The Flight of the Colugo Zip, an adventure course comprising of 3 zip lines, 1 abseil and 1 rope bridge.

  • Opening Hours: Open daily from 9am to 7pm. Last entry to the park is at 5:30PM
  • Location: We are located atop Penang Hill and guests can take the funicular train, the jeep service from Penang Botanical Garden or hike to the top!
  • Location: We are located atop Penang Hill and guests can take the funicular train, the jeep service from Penang Botanical Garden or hike to the top!
  • Dressing: It is advisable to dress in attire suitable for outdoor activities
  • Weather: In adverse weather conditions, where safety is compromised, we reserve the right to close the park without notice
  • Weather: In rainy conditions, we do provide umbrellas to our guests and there are rain shelters throughout the park
  • BYOB: We have water stations across our park so we encourage you to bring your own water bottle!
  • Time Planning: Please note that the funicular train service can get congested especially during peak travel season
